Return Reels to Get Discounts and Go Green
We'll take back your used reels when they meet the Acceptable Guidelines for discounted pricing. In addition to being environmentally friendly, reusing steel reels creates a clean and tidy work area. Reels in good condition can easily be returned to Dura-Line for reuse.
Acceptable Reels for Reuse
Steel Reel with Steel Staves
- Steel Reels constructed with 8 Steel Staves
Acceptable Reels for Reuse
Steel Reel with Steel Staves
- Steel Staves should be either Type A or Type B
- Flanges should be either 2,5 m or 2,7 m
Unacceptable Reels for Return
Reels with one or more of the following conditions will not meet the acceptance of the contract:
- Wooden Reels
- Bent, broken or flattened flanges (spokes)
- Bent, broken or missing staves
- Broken or cracked welds
- Reels that did not originate at a Dura-Line facility
WOODEN REELS
Dura-Line does not accept the return of wooden reels. Please dispose of the wooden reel responsibly.
PROCESS TO RETURN REELS
- Please disassemble all reels, with the flanges and staves in good condition
- Ship the steel flanges upright in a vertical bundle
- All Returned Reels will be inspected and must meet above criteria for discount
